Tour Description

Our tour representative will meet you at Laem Chabang port and escort you to a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle for your private tour of Ayutthaya.

The old capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya is itself a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Founded in 1350, the city was flushed with royalty and riches between the 14th and 18th Centuries before a devastating attack by the Burmese army left many areas of the city damaged or destroyed.

Unfortunately, the majority of buildings and temples were never rebuilt or repaired and have remained in the same state for almost 250 years.

The first stop on the tour is Wat Mahathat — a former royal residence of the supreme monk.

Next up, we will visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, also known as the Grand Palace of Ayutthaya before finishing with Bang Pa-In Palace — an island palace of wonderful splendor used as the summer residence for the current Thai royal family.

After exploring these sights we will depart back to Laem Chabang port with plenty of time to spare before your ship’s departure.
