Tour Description

The name "Corleone" is not simply that of a Godfather.

Discover this picturesque village in the middle of the Sicilian countryside, enjoy the warm hospitality of the people and their effort to struggle against the Mafia.

The guided tour, lead by an activist of a local non-profit organization, will retrace the history of Corleone from the late nineteenth century.

It runs through the city center and includes the “Laboratory of Legality”. Here you can admire the works of the Sicilian painter Gaetano Porcasi, which focus on the history of the Mafia and the Anti-mafia movement.

Things to Note

  • Groups meet at the bus station in Palermo, to take the bus leaving at 8 AM and arriving at 9.50 in Corleone where the tour starts at 10. To come back, take either the 2:15 pm or the 4:40 pm bus.

  • Cancellation / no show policy: If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before the date of tour no fee will be charged.
  • If cancelled or modified later or in case of no show 100 % of reservation will be charged.
